Google is the way people find things in the modern age. We search the internet and look for what we want. Sometimes we have great, fast experiences and land on exactly what we want. Other times it doesn’t turn out so well.
Often we make searches online after we’ve driven by things or places in person and it seems like a neat thing we want to try, so then when we have a few minutes, we just ‘Google it’!
However, I personally found out that not all searches on foot massage spas are created equal. In fact, what I saw driving by and what I searched online was really eye-opening. I found exactly what I searched for, the exact location I had driven by, but what I found when I visited their website was shocking to say the least.
It turns out that even in what seem to be ‘nice neighborhoods’ there are spas of varying sorts that are not what one would expect for them to be.
And further, what I found was that this is especially the case with spas who name themselves foot massage spas.
It turns out, this term has for some reason become the term used by spas that are not legitimate day spas or massage therapy venues, but rather, are illegal businesses operating in broad daylight in neighborhoods you would not expect.
Getting a foot massage at a legitimate day spa
However, the good news is that you can receive an amazing foot massage from a legitimate day spa.
The way to find out if a spa or day spa is legitimate is to look at their website, review the services they offer, and even call and talk with them to make sure you are picking the correct day spa location if you are seeking a foot massage or other spa services without the unfortunate realities associated with the many massages that brand themselves as foot massage spas, but in reality are anything but good places to get a massage.
You can get a foot massage or even a body massage, a facial, a scalp massage, or enjoy excellent hydrotherapy options at a clean, legitimate day spa and find yourself refreshed and invigorated as well!
